BBC One Show filming on Shakespeare Beach and Samphire Hoe in Dover
Filming again with the BBC One Show team, this time down in a very blustery Dover, Kent.
We visited Shakespeare Beach and Samphire Hoe along with the team and presenter Jim Moir (better known as Vic Reeves) where we were providing aerial filming as he met some local personalities and also created two pieces of original artwork on location.
Despite some very high winds, we managed to fly the largest of our drone fleet and she performed amazingly well. She managed to keep stable for filming in the most gusty conditions – a major advantage of having a heavy lift / sub 20 drone in our fleet. A 6 rotor copter offers redundancy and added stability in difficult weather conditions and it was this that allowed us to create great footage of the environment yesterday (in between the rain showers – there’s nothing we can do about that!).
